Privacy Policy for Kitchen Manager
Last updated: September 29, 2026
Information stored by the app
Kitchen Manager stores account information such as your name and email, authentication records, household memberships and preferences, recipes, meal plans, comments, ratings, and shopping items. It uses this information to provide sign-in and the shared kitchen features.
Sharing within a household
Other members of your household can see its shared kitchen information and member display names. Household owners manage shared settings and invitations. Only share information you want those members to see.
Connected assistants
When you authorize an external assistant, it can read and update information in the households you select through the available tools. The app stores client registration details and authorization records to manage that access. Revoking a connection stops future access through its credentials; it does not remove information already received by the assistant provider.
Service providers
The app uses Convex for authentication and data storage, Vercel for hosting, and Postmark to send password-reset emails. If optional billing is enabled, Stripe processes payments and the app stores billing identifiers and access status. These providers process information needed to provide their services.
Sessions and credential retention
Authentication uses session cookies to keep you signed in. Expired credentials for connected assistants are periodically deleted. Revoking a connection deletes its stored refresh and access tokens. Credential cleanup does not delete your account or shared kitchen content.
Changes
The current privacy policy is available on this page and may be updated as the app changes.
